8Look to yourselves, that ye lose not the things which we have wrought, but that ye receive a full reward.
9[ even he], whose coming is according to the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,
2to the end that ye be not quickly shaken from your mind, nor yet be troubled, either by spirit, or by word, or by epistle as from us, as that the day of the Lord is just at hand;

17Ye therefore, beloved, knowing [these things] beforehand, beware lest, being carried away with the error of the wicked, ye fall from your own stedfastness.
7But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the exceeding greatness of the power may be of God, and not from ourselves;
4and that because of the false brethren privily brought in, who came in privily to spy out our liberty which we have in Christ Jesus, that they might bring us into bondage:
9not because we have not the right, but to make ourselves an ensample unto you, that ye should imitate us.
19For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. For it is written, He that taketh the wise in their craftiness:
5For neither at any time were we found using words of flattery, as ye know, nor a cloak of covetousness, God is witness;
12If others partake of [this] right over you, do not we yet more? Nevertheless we did not use this right; but we bear all things, that we may cause no hindrance to the gospel of Christ.
27But no one can enter into the house of the strong [man], and spoil his goods, except he first bind the strong [man] ; and then he will spoil his house.
2but we have renounced the hidden things of shame, not walking in craftiness, nor handling the word of God deceitfully; but by the manifestation of the truth commending ourselves to every man's conscience in the sight of God.
8Be sober, be watchful: your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour,
17Wherefore be ye not foolish, but understand what the will of the Lord is.

8Take heed lest there shall be any one that maketh spoil of you through his philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ:
5not in the passion of lust, even as the Gentiles who know not God;
6that no man transgress, and wrong his brother in the matter: because the Lord is an avenger in all these things, as also we forewarned you and testified.
15of whom do thou also beware; for he greatly withstood our words.
4But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief:
2wherein ye once walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the powers of the air, of the spirit that now worketh in the sons of disobedience;
10to the intent that now unto the principalities and the powers in the heavenly [places] might be made known through the church the manifold wisdom of God,
17For we are not as the many, corrupting the word of God: but as of sincerity, but as of God, in the sight of God, speak we in Christ.
11Knowing therefore the fear of the Lord, we persuade men, but we are made manifest unto God; and I hope that we are made manifest also in your consciences.
7but we speak God's wisdom in a mystery, [even] the [wisdom] that hath been hidden, which God foreordained before the worlds unto our glory:
