6For thou hast taken pledges of thy brother for nought, And stripped the naked of their clothing.
7Thou hast not given water to the weary to drink, And thou hast withholden bread from the hungry.
10[ So that] they go about naked without clothing, And being hungry they carry the sheaves.
16neither hath wronged any, hath not taken aught to pledge, neither hath taken by robbery, but hath given his bread to the hungry, and hath covered the naked with a garment;
35for I was hungry, and ye gave me to eat; I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink; I was a stranger, and ye took me in;
36naked, and ye clothed me; I was sick, and ye visited me; I was in prison, and ye came unto me.
37Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee hungry, and fed thee? or athirst, and gave thee drink?
38And when saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee?
7They lie all night naked without clothing, And have no covering in the cold.
11Even unto this present hour we both hunger, and thirst, and are naked, and are buffeted, and have no certain dwelling-place;
3And if I bestow all my goods to feed [the poor], and if I give my body to be burned, but have not love, it profiteth me nothing.
42for I was hungry, and ye did not give me to eat; I was thirsty, and ye gave me no drink;
43I was a stranger, and ye took me not in; naked, and ye clothed me not; sick, and in prison, and ye visited me not.
44Then shall they also answer, saying, Lord, when saw we thee hungry, or athirst, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister unto thee?
3if so be that being clothed we shall not be found naked.
7and hath not wronged any, but hath restored to the debtor his pledge, hath taken nought by robbery, hath given his bread to the hungry, and hath covered the naked with a garment;
35And if thy brother be waxed poor, and his hand fail with thee; then thou shalt uphold him: [as] a stranger and a sojourner shall he live with thee.
8but having food and covering we shall be therewith content.
27[ in] labor and travail, in watchings often, in hunger and thirst, in fastings often, in cold and nakedness.
11And he answered and said unto them, He that hath two coats, let him impart to him that hath none; and he that hath food, let him do likewise.

16If any woman that believeth hath widows, let her relieve them, and let not the church be burdened; that it may relieve them that are widows indeed.
10For even when we were with you, this we commanded you, If any will not work, neither let him eat.
45and they sold their possessions and goods, and parted them to all, according as any man had need.
14but by equality: your abundance [being a supply] at this present time for their want, that their abundance also may become [a supply] for your want; that there may be equality:
15as it is written, He that [gathered] much had nothing over; and he that [gathered] little had no lack.
12that ye may walk becomingly toward them that are without, and may have need of nothing.
27Pure religion and undefiled before our God and Father is this, to visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, [and] to keep oneself unspotted from the world.
8But if any provideth not for his own, and specially his own household, he hath denied the faith, and is worse than an unbeliever.
31Be not therefore anxious, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed?
10and if thou draw out thy soul to the hungry, and satisfy the afflicted soul: then shall thy light rise in darkness, and thine obscurity be as the noonday;
35and laid them at the apostles' feet: and distribution was made unto each, according as any one had need.
20But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith apart from works is barren?
15For if because of meat thy brother is grieved, thou walkest no longer in love. Destroy not with thy meat him for whom Christ died.
2Your riches are corrupted, and your garments are moth-eaten.
23For the life is more than the food, and the body than the raiment.
5Beloved, thou doest a faithful work in whatsoever thou doest toward them that are brethren and strangers withal;
5I thought it necessary therefore to entreat the brethren, that they would go before unto you, and make up beforehand your aforepromised bounty, that the same might be ready as a matter of bounty, and not of extortion.
16If I have withheld the poor from [their] desire, Or have caused the eyes of the widow to fail,
9but [to go] shod with sandals: and, [said he], put not on two coats.
15But if ye bite and devour one another, take heed that ye be not consumed one of another.
