Verse 9

And his disciples put questions to him about the point of the story.

Matt 13:10 : 10 And the disciples came and said to him, Why do you say things to them in the form of stories?
Matt 13:18 : 18 Give ear, then, to the story of the man who put the seed in the earth.
Mark 4:10 : 10 And when he was by himself, those who were round him with the twelve put questions to him about the purpose of the stories.
Mark 4:34 : 34 And without a story he said nothing to them: but privately to his disciples he made all things clear.
Mark 7:17-18 : 17 And when he had gone into the house away from all the people, his disciples put questions to him about the saying. 18 And he said to them, Have even you so little wisdom? Do you not see that whatever goes into a man from outside is not able to make him unclean,
John 15:15 : 15 No longer do I give you the name of servants; because a servant is without knowledge of what his master is doing: I give you the name of friends, because I have given you knowledge of all the things which my Father has said to me.
Matt 13:36 : 36 Then he went away from the people, and went into the house; and his disciples came to him, saying, Make clear to us the story of the evil plants in the field.
Matt 15:15 : 15 Then Peter said to him, Make the story clear to us.
Hos 6:3 : 3 And let us have knowledge, let us go after the knowledge of the Lord; his going out is certain as the dawn, his decisions go out like the light; he will come to us like the rain, like the spring rain watering the earth.
