  • 6Return to the One you have so deeply rebelled against, O sons of Israel.

  • 16I will pronounce My judgments against them for all their evil in forsaking Me, burning incense to other gods, and worshiping the works of their own hands.

  • 17You also took the fine jewelry made of gold and silver that I had given you, and you made male idols for yourself and engaged in prostitution with them.

  • 9You have done more evil than all who came before you. You have gone and made other gods and cast images to provoke Me to anger, and you have turned your back on Me.

  • 13Therefore, I will hurl you out of this land into a land you and your ancestors have not known. There you will serve other gods day and night, for I will show you no favor.'

  • 7When you brought in foreigners, uncircumcised in heart and flesh, to be in My sanctuary and profane it—My house—by offering My food, the fat, and the blood, you broke My covenant with all your abominations.

  • 52you must drive out all the inhabitants of the land before you, destroy all their stone images and cast idols, and demolish all their high places.

  • 5Instead, this is what you must do to them: Tear down their altars, smash their sacred pillars, chop down their Asherah poles, and burn their carved images with fire.

  • 2But you must not make a covenant with the people who live in this land. Instead, you are to break down their altars. Yet you have not obeyed me. What is this that you have done?'
