12The land that I gave to Abraham and Isaac, I will give to you, and I will also give it to your descendants after you.
1Isaac called Jacob, blessed him, and commanded him, saying, 'Do not take a wife from the daughters of Canaan.'
2Arise, go to Paddan-Aram, to the house of Bethuel, your mother's father, and take a wife for yourself from there, from the daughters of Laban, your mother's brother.
9He thought, 'If Esau comes and attacks one camp, then the other camp that is left will escape.'
7And He said to him, "I am the LORD who brought you out of Ur of the Chaldeans to give you this land to possess."
1God said to Jacob, "Get up, go to Bethel, and settle there. Build an altar there to the God who appeared to you when you fled from your brother Esau."
16Go, assemble the elders of Israel, and tell them, 'The LORD, the God of your ancestors—the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob—has appeared to me and said: "I have watched over you and have seen what has been done to you in Egypt."
39His father Isaac answered him, 'Your dwelling will be away from the richness of the earth and away from the dew of heaven above.'
4Then the Lord said to him, 'This is the land I swore to give to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, saying, I will give it to your descendants. I have let you see it with your own eyes, but you will not cross over into it.'
19Then God said, "Yes, but your wife Sarah will bear you a son, and you will call him Isaac. I will establish My covenant with him as an everlasting covenant for his descendants after him.
62Now Isaac had come from Beer-lahai-roi, for he was living in the Negev.
