Jer 50:9-9 : 9 For behold, I am stirring up and bringing against Babylon a coalition of great nations from the north. They will line up for battle against her; from there she will be captured. For the men of Kir-heres, I will mourn. 32 I will weep for you, vine of Sibmah, more than for Jazer. Your branches spread to the sea, reaching as far as Jazer. The destroyer has fallen upon your summer fruit and your grape harvest. 33 Joy and gladness have been taken from the fertile fields and the land of Moab. I have stopped the wine flowing from the presses; no one treads them with shouts of joy. There is no joyful shouting. 34 The crying of Heshbon resounds to Elealeh and Jahaz, they have raised their voices from Zoar to Horonaim and Eglath-shelishiyah. Even the waters of Nimrim are dried up. 35 I will put an end in Moab to the one who sacrifices on the high places and burns incense to his gods, declares the LORD. 36 Therefore, my heart moans for Moab like the sound of flutes; it moans like flutes for the men of Kir-heres, because their accumulated wealth has perished. 37 Every head is shaved, every beard is cut off, gashes are on all their hands, and sackcloth is wrapped around their waists. 38 On every rooftop of Moab and in its public squares, there is nothing but lamentation. For I have broken Moab like a jar no one wants, declares the LORD. 39 How shattered Moab is! Cry out! How Moab has turned his back in shame. So Moab will become a ridicule and a horror to all his neighbors. 40 For this is what the LORD says: Behold, one will fly swiftly like an eagle and spread his wings against Moab. 41 The cities are captured, and the strongholds are seized. On that day, the heart of Moab's warriors will be like the heart of a woman in labor. 42 Moab will be destroyed as a people, because he exalted himself against the LORD. 43 Terror, pit, and snare await you, O inhabitant of Moab, declares the LORD. 44 The one who flees from the terror will fall into the pit, and the one climbing out of the pit will be caught in the snare. For I will bring on Moab the year of their punishment, declares the LORD. 45 In the shadow of Heshbon, the fugitives stand helpless, for a fire has gone out from Heshbon, and a flame from Sihon. It devours the corner of Moab and the crown of the noisy boasters. 46 Woe to you, Moab! The people of Chemosh are destroyed. Your sons have been taken into exile, and your daughters into captivity. 47 Yet I will restore the fortunes of Moab in the latter days, declares the LORD. Here ends the judgment on Moab. 1 Concerning the children of Ammon, this is what the LORD says: Does Israel have no sons? Does he have no heir? Why then has their king taken possession of Gad, and why do his people dwell in its cities?
Zeph 3:19-20 : 19 Behold, at that time I will deal with all your oppressors. I will save the lame and gather the scattered. I will make them a praise and a name in every land where they have suffered shame. 20 At that time, I will bring you in; at the time I gather you. For I will make you a name and a praise among all the peoples of the earth, when I restore your fortunes before your very eyes, says the LORD.
Zech 1:15 : 15 But I am very angry with the nations that are at ease; for while I was only a little angry, they added to the harm.
Zech 10:6-9 : 6 I will strengthen the house of Judah and save the house of Joseph. I will restore them because I have compassion on them, and it will be as though I had never rejected them. For I am the LORD their God, and I will answer them. 7 Ephraim will be like mighty warriors, and their hearts will rejoice as if from wine. Their children will see it and be happy; their hearts will exult in the LORD. 8 I will whistle for them and gather them, for I have redeemed them. They will become as numerous as they were before. 9 Though I scatter them among the nations, they will remember Me even in distant lands. They will live with their children and return. 10 I will bring them back from the land of Egypt and gather them from Assyria. I will bring them to the lands of Gilead and Lebanon, but there will not be enough room for them. 11 They will cross the sea of distress, striking the waves, and the depths of the Nile will dry up. The pride of Assyria will be brought down, and the scepter of Egypt will pass away. 12 I will strengthen them in the LORD, and in His name they will walk, declares the LORD.
Zech 12:2-4 : 2 Behold, I am making Jerusalem a cup of reeling for all the surrounding nations. Even Judah will be besieged as Jerusalem is attacked. 3 And on that day, I will make Jerusalem a heavy stone for all the peoples. All who try to lift it will be severely injured, and all the nations of the earth will gather against her. 4 On that day,” declares the Lord, “I will strike every horse with panic and its rider with madness. But I will watch over the house of Judah, while I strike every horse of the nations with blindness.
