16Then I say, walke in the spirite, and ye shall not fulfyll the lust of the flesshe.
17For the flesshe lusteth contrary to the spirite, and the spirite contrary to the flesshe. These are contrary one to the other, so that ye can not do what ye woulde.
3For ye are carnal. Seing then, there is among you enuying, & stryfe, and sectes, are ye not carnall, and walke as men?
4For whyle one sayth, I am of Paul, and another, I am of Apollo, are ye not carnall?
21For from within, euen out of the heart of men, proceade euyll thoughtes, adulterie, fornication, murther,
22Theft, couetousnes, wickednes, deceit, wantonnes, a wicked eye, blasphemies, pride, foolyshnes.
23All these euyll thynges come fro within, and defyle a man.
16For all that is in the worlde, as the lust of the fleshe, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the father, but of the worlde.
19For out of the heart, proceade euyll thoughtes, murders, adulteries, whordomes, theftes, false witnesse, blasphemyes.
14The beginning of strife is, as when a man maketh an issue for water: therfore leaue of before the contention be medled with.
7Nowe therefore there is vtterly a fault among you, because ye go to lawe one with another: Why rather suffer ye not wrong? why rather suffer ye not harme?
8Nay, ye your selues do wrong, and do harme, and that to your brethren.

5Mortifie therefore your members which are vpon the earth: fornication, vncleannesse, inordinate affection, euyll concupiscence, and couetousnesse, which is worshippyng of images:
19The deedes of the flesshe are manifest, which are these, adulterie, fornication, vncleannesse, wantonnesse,
23But foolishe & vnlearned questions put from thee, knowyng that they do but gender strife.
4And it seemeth to them an inconuenient thyng, that ye runne not also with them vnto the same excesse of riote, and therefore speake they euyll of you:
2But swearing, lying, manslaughter, theft, and adulterie, hath gotten the ouer hande, and one bloodgiltinesse foloweth another.
5Ye haue liued in pleasure on the earth, and ben wanton: Ye haue nourisshed your heartes, as in a day of slaughter.
4He is puft vp, knowyng nothing, but dotyng about questions and strifes of wordes, wherof commeth enuie, stryfe, raylynges, euyll surmysynges,
20For I feare lest when I come, I shall not fynde you such as I woulde: and that I shalbe founde vnto you, such as ye woulde not: lest there be debates, enuyinges, wrathes, strifes, backbitinges, whisperinges, swellinges, & seditions:
36Sproung the worde of God from you? Either came it vnto you only?
7Submit your selues therfore to God: but resist the deuyll, and he wyll flee from you.
18Thy wayes and thy thoughtes haue brought thee vnto this, such is thine owne wickednesse and disobedience: and because it is a bitter thyng, it hath stricken thee to the heart.
13Go to nowe ye that say, to day and to morowe let vs go into such a citie, and continue there a yere, and bye and sell, and wynne:
23But I see another lawe in my members, rebellyng agaynst the lawe of my mynde, and subduyng me vnto the lawe of sinne, which is in my members.
4Ye haue not yet resisted vnto blood, stryuyng agaynst sinne.
8Not the perfection of hym that called you.
4Are ye not partiall in your selues, and are made iudges of euyll thoughtes?
10Out of one mouth proceadeth blessing and cursing. My brethren, these thynges ought not so to be.
20For the wrath of man, worketh not that which is ryghteous before God.
12Let not sinne raigne therefore in your mortall bodie, that ye shoulde thervnto obey by the lustes of it.
16These are murmurers, complayners, walkyng after their owne lustes, whose mouthes speake proude thynges. They haue men in great reuerence because of aduantage.
9Grudge not one agaynst another brethren, lest ye be dampned: Beholde, the iudge standeth before the doore.
1For as muche then as Christ hath suffered for vs in the fleshe, arme ye your selues lykewise with the same mynde: for he which suffereth in the fleshe, ceasseth from sinne:
9For they that wyll be riche, fall into temptations and snares, and into many folishe & noysome lustes, which drowne men in perdition and destruction.
11For it is shewed vnto me my brethren, of you, by them whiche are of the house of Cloe, that there are contentions among you.
