3As I exhorted thee to tarry at Ephesus, when I was going into Macedonia, that thou mightest charge certain men not to teach a different doctrine,
30having the same conflict which ye saw in me, and now hear to be in me.
9wherein I suffer hardship unto bonds, as a malefactor; but the word of God is not bound.
10Therefore I endure all things for the elect's sake, that they also may obtain the salvation which is in Christ Jesus with eternal glory.
11And he gave some [to be] apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;
20for which I am an ambassador in chains; that in it I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak.
