1 Og Herren talte til Moses og sa,

And Jehovah spake unto Moses, saying,

2 Ta Aron og hans sønner med seg, og klærne, salvingsoljen, syndeofferoksen, de to værerne og kurven med usyret brød;

Take Aaron and his sons with him, and the garments, and the anointing oil, and the bullock of the sin-offering, and the two rams, and the basket of unleavened bread;

3 og samle hele menigheten ved inngangen til møteteltet.

and assemble thou all the congregation at the door of the tent of meeting.

4 Og Moses gjorde som Herren befalte ham; og menigheten ble samlet ved inngangen til møteteltet.

And Moses did as Jehovah commanded him; and the congregation was assembled at the door of the tent of meeting.

5 Og Moses sa til menigheten: Dette er det som Herren har befalt å gjøre.

And Moses said unto the congregation, This is the thing which Jehovah hath commanded to be done.

6 Og Moses førte Aron og hans sønner fram, og vasket dem med vann.

And Moses brought Aaron and his sons, and washed them with water.

7 Og han satte på ham tunikaen, bandt beltet på ham, kledde ham i kappen og satte efod på ham. Han bandt den kunstferdig vevde efodbelten rundt ham og festet den til ham.

And he put upon him the coat, and girded him with the girdle, and clothed him with the robe, and put the ephod upon him, and he girded him with the skilfully woven band of the ephod, and bound it unto him therewith.

8 Og han satte brystduken på ham, og i brystduken la han urim og tummim.

And he placed the breastplate upon him: and in the breastplate he put the Urim and the Thummim.

9 Og han satte turbanen på hans hode; og foran på turbanen festet han den gullplaten, det hellige diademet, som Herren hadde befalt Moses.

And he set the mitre upon his head; and upon the mitre, in front, did he set the golden plate, the holy crown; as Jehovah commanded Moses.

10 Og Moses tok salvingsoljen og salvet tabernaklet og alt som var i det, og helliget dem.

And Moses took the anointing oil, and anointed the tabernacle and all that was therein, and sanctified them.

11 Og han stenkte noe av oljen på alteret sju ganger, og salvet alteret og alle dets redskaper, vaskefatet med dets sokkel, for å hellige dem.

And he sprinkled thereof upon the altar seven times, and anointed the altar and all its vessels, and the laver and its base, to sanctify them.

12 Og han helte salvingsoljen over Arons hode og salvet ham, for å hellige ham.

And he poured of the anointing oil upon Aaron's head, and anointed him, to sanctify him.

13 Og Moses førte Arons sønner fram, kledde dem i tunikaer, bandt belter på dem og satte hodeplagg på dem, som Herren hadde befalt Moses.

And Moses brought Aaron's sons, and clothed them with coats, and girded them with girdles, and bound head-tires upon them; as Jehovah commanded Moses.

14 Og han førte fram syndeofferoksen; og Aron og hans sønner la sine hender på hodet til oksen for syndofferet.

And he brought the bullock of the sin-offering: and Aaron and his sons laid their hands upon the head of the bullock of the sin-offering.

15 Og han slaktet den; og Moses tok blodet og strøk det på altarhornene rundt omkring med fingeren, og renset alteret. Han helte blodet ved foten av alteret og helliget det for å gjøre soning for det.

And he slew it; and Moses took the blood, and put it upon the horns of the altar round about with his finger, and purified the altar, and poured out the blood at the base of the altar, and sanctified it, to make atonement for it.

16 Og han tok alt fett som var over innvollene, leverlappen og begge nyrene med deres fett, og brente det på alteret.

And he took all the fat that was upon the inwards, and the caul of the liver, and the two kidneys, and their fat; and Moses burned it upon the altar.

17 Men oksen, huden, kjøttet og møkka brente han opp utenfor leiren, som Herren hadde befalt Moses.

But the bullock, and its skin, and its flesh, and its dung, he burnt with fire without the camp; as Jehovah commanded Moses.

18 Og han førte fram brennofferet, væreren; og Aron og hans sønner la sine hender på hodet til væreren.

And he presented the ram of the burnt-offering: and Aaron and his sons laid their hands upon the head of the ram.

19 Og han slaktet den; og Moses stenkte blodet rundt omkring på alteret.

And he killed it; and Moses sprinkled the blood upon the altar round about.

20 Og han delte væren i deler; og Moses brente hodet, delene, og fettet.

And he cut the ram into its pieces; and Moses burnt the head, and the pieces, and the fat.

21 Og han vasket innvollene og føttene med vann; og Moses brente hele væren på alteret: Det var en brennoffer til en velbehagelig duft, et ildoffer til Herren, som Herren hadde befalt Moses.

And he washed the inwards and the legs with water; and Moses burnt the whole ram upon the altar: it was a burnt-offering for a sweet savor: it was an offering made by fire unto Jehovah; as Jehovah commanded Moses.

22 Og han førte fram den andre væren, innvielsesværeren, og Aron og hans sønner la sine hender på hodet til den.

And he presented the other ram, the ram of consecration: and Aaron and his sons laid their hands upon the head of the ram.

23 Og han slaktet den; og Moses tok noe av blodet og strøk det på tuppen av Arons høyre øre, på tommelen av hans høyre hånd, og på stortåen av hans høyre fot.

And he slew it; and Moses took of the blood thereof, and put it upon the tip of Aaron's right ear, and upon the thumb of his right hand, and upon the great toe of his right foot.

24 Og han førte Arons sønner fram; og Moses strøk noe av blodet på tuppen av deres høyre øre, på tommelen av deres høyre hånd, og på stortåen av deres høyre fot. Og Moses stenkte blodet rundt omkring på alteret.

And he brought Aaron's sons; and Moses put of the blood upon the tip of their right ear, and upon the thumb of their right hand, and upon the great toe of their right foot: and Moses sprinkled the blood upon the altar round about.

25 Og han tok fettet, fetthalen, alt fettet over innvollene, leverlappen, begge nyrene med deres fett og høyre lår;

And he took the fat, and the fat tail, and all the fat that was upon the inwards, and the caul of the liver, and the two kidneys, and their fat, and the right thigh:

26 og fra kurven med usyret brød som var foran Herren, tok han en usyret kake, en oljet brødkake og en vaffel, og la dem på fettet og på høyre lår.

and out of the basket of unleavened bread, that was before Jehovah, he took one unleavened cake, and one cake of oiled bread, and one wafer, and placed them on the fat, and upon the right thigh:

27 Og han la alt på Arons hender og på hans sønners hender, og viftet dem som et viftoffer for Herren.

and he put the whole upon the hands of Aaron, and upon the hands of his sons, and waved them for a wave-offering before Jehovah.

28 Og Moses tok dem fra deres hender og brente dem på alteret sammen med brennofferet: Det var en innvielse til en velbehagelig duft, et ildoffer for Herren.

And Moses took them from off their hands, and burnt them on the altar upon the burnt-offering: they were a consecration for a sweet savor: it was an offering made by fire unto Jehovah.

29 Og Moses tok brystet og viftet det som et viftoffer for Herren: Dette var Moses' del av innvielsesværeren, som Herren hadde befalt Moses.

And Moses took the breast, and waved it for a wave-offering before Jehovah: it was Moses' portion of the ram of consecration; as Jehovah commanded Moses.

30 Og Moses tok noe av salvingsoljen og av blodet som var på alteret, og stenkte det på Aron og hans klær, på hans sønner og deres klær med ham, og helliget Aron, hans klær, hans sønner og deres klær med ham.

And Moses took of the anointing oil, and of the blood which was upon the altar, and sprinkled it upon Aaron, upon his garments, and upon his sons, and upon his sons' garments with him, and sanctified Aaron, his garments, and his sons, and his sons' garments with him.

31 Og Moses sa til Aron og hans sønner: Kok kjøttet ved inngangen til møteteltet, og spis det der med brødet som er i innvielseskurven, som jeg har befalt, og sagt at Aron og hans sønner skal spise det.

And Moses said unto Aaron and to his sons, Boil the flesh at the door of the tent of meeting: and there eat it and the bread that is in the basket of consecration, as I commanded, saying, Aaron and his sons shall eat it.

32 Og det som blir igjen av kjøttet og brødet, skal dere brenne opp med ild.

And that which remaineth of the flesh and of the bread shall ye burn with fire.

33 Dere skal ikke forlate inngangen til møteteltet i sju dager, før dagene for deres innvielse er fullført, for Herren vil innvie dere i løpet av sju dager.

And ye shall not go out from the door of the tent of meeting seven days, until the days of your consecration be fulfilled: for he shall consecrate you seven days.

34 Som det er gjort denne dagen, har Herren befalt å gjøre for å gjøre soning for dere.

As hath been done this day, so Jehovah hath commanded to do, to make atonement for you.

35 Og ved inngangen til møteteltet skal dere bli dag og natt i sju dager, og holde Herrens vakt, så dere ikke dør, for det er jeg blitt befalt.

And at the door of the tent of meeting shall ye abide day and night seven days, and keep the charge of Jehovah, that ye die not: for so I am commanded.

36 Og Aron og hans sønner gjorde alt som Herren hadde befalt gjennom Moses.

And Aaron and his sons did all the things which Jehovah commanded by Moses.
