(Hebron war sieben Jahre vor Zoan in Ägypten erbaut worden.) 23 Und sie kamen zum Bach Eschkol und schnitten dort einen Zweig mit einer Traube ab, und sie trugen ihn zu zweit auf einer Stange; und sie brachten auch Granatäpfel und Feigen mit. 24 Dieser Ort wurde Bach Eschkol genannt wegen der Traube, die die Kinder Israels dort abschnitten.
