7As a result, you became an example to all the believers in Macedonia and Achaia.
8For the word of the Lord has sounded forth from you—not only in Macedonia and Achaia, but your faith in God has gone out everywhere, so that we don’t need to say anything.
9For they themselves tell about how you welcomed us and how you turned to God from idols to serve the living and true God.
3We always ought to give thanks to God for you, brothers and sisters, as is fitting, because your faith is growing abundantly, and the love of each one of you for one another is increasing.
4As a result, we ourselves boast about you among the churches of God for your endurance and faith in all the persecutions and trials you are enduring.
11Filled with the fruit of righteousness that comes through Jesus Christ, to the glory and praise of God.
12So that the name of our Lord Jesus Christ may be glorified in you, and you in Him, according to the grace of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ.
24Therefore, show these men the proof of your love and the reason for our pride in you, so that the churches can see it.
