19'Hear the word of the Lord, you women; let your ears receive the words of His mouth. Teach your daughters to wail and one another to mourn.'
15Alas for the day! For the day of the Lord is near, and it will come as destruction from the Almighty.
2He said: 'The LORD roars from Zion, and from Jerusalem He raises His voice; the pastures of the shepherds mourn, and the summit of Carmel withers.'
22This is what the Lord says: 'Look, a people is coming from the land of the north; a great nation is being stirred up from the farthest parts of the earth.
1Then he called out in a loud voice for me to hear, saying, 'Bring near those appointed to punish the city, each carrying his weapon of destruction in his hand.'
27I was the first to say to Zion, 'Look, here they are!' And I give to Jerusalem a messenger of good news.
3Listen! The wailing of the shepherds, because their glory is ruined. Listen! The roar of the lions, for the pride of the Jordan is devastated.
6For this is what the Lord said to me: 'Go, station a watchman, and let him report what he sees.'
