Verse 1

A song of high degrees. Out of the deepe I haue called vnto thee O God: O Lorde heare my voyce.

Verse 2

Let thine eares be attentiue: vnto the voyce of my petition for grace.

Verse 3

If thou O God wylt marke what is done amisse: O Lorde who can abide it?

Verse 4

For there is pardon of sinne with thee: that thou mayest be feared.

Verse 5

I haue wayted for God, my soule haue wayted for hym: and I haue reposed my trust in his worde.

Verse 6

My soule lifteth more after God, then watchmen do after the morning: I say more then watchmen do after the mornyng.

Verse 7

Israel ought to trust in God, for there is mercy with God: and there is plenteousnes of redemption with him.

Verse 8

And he wyll redeeme Israel: from all his sinnes.
