23Speake vnto Rehoboam the sonne of Salomon King of Iudah, and vnto all the house of Iudah and Beniamin, and the remnant of the people, saying,
26And Ieroboam thought in his heart, Nowe shall the kingdome returne to the house of Dauid.
27If this people goe vp and doe sacrifice in the house of the Lorde at Ierusalem, then shall the heart of this people turne againe vnto their lorde, euen to Rehoboam King of Iudah: so shall they kill me and goe againe to Rehoboam King of Iudah.
17So they strengthened the kingdome of Iudah, and made Rehoboam the sonne of Salomon mightie, three yeere long: for three yeere they walked in in the way of Dauid and Salomon.
8And whosoeuer woulde not come within three dayes according to the counsel of the Princes & Elders, all his substance should be forfait, & he should be separate from the Congregation of them of the captiuitie.
17Howbeit Rehoboam reigned ouer the children of Israel, that dwelt in the cities of Iudah.
18Then King Rehoboam sent Hadoram that was ouer the tribute, and the children of Israel stoned him with stones, that he died: then King Rehoboham made speede to get him vp to his charet, to flee to Ierusalem.
19And Israel rebelled against the house of Dauid vnto this day.

4Then sayde the King to Amasa, Assemble me the men of Iudah within three dayes, and be thou here present.
