Verse 11

Thou shalt not take the Name of the Lord thy God in vaine: for the Lorde will not holde him giltlesse that taketh his Name in vaine.

Lev 19:12 : 12 Also yee shall not sweare by my name falsely, neither shalt thou defile the name of thy God: I am the Lord.
Deut 6:13 : 13 Thou shalt feare the Lorde thy God, and serue him, and shalt sweare by his Name.
Matt 5:33-34 : 33 Againe, ye haue heard that it was sayd to them of old time, Thou shalt not forsweare thy selfe, but shalt performe thine othes to the Lord. 34 But I say vnto you, Sweare not at all, neither by heauen, for it is the throne of God:
Exod 20:7 : 7 Thou shalt not take the Name of the Lorde thy God in vaine: for the Lorde will not hold him guiltles that taketh his Name in vayne.
Jas 5:12 : 12 But before all thinges, my brethren, sweare not, neither by heauen, nor by earth, nor by any other othe: but let your yea, be yea, and your nay, nay, lest ye fall into condemnation.
Ps 139:20 : 20 Which speake wickedly of thee, and being thine enemies are lifted vp in vaine.
Jer 4:2 : 2 And thou shalt sweare, The Lord liueth in trueth, in iudgement, and in righteousnesse, and the nations shall be blessed in him, and shall glorie in him.
