3Therefore thus saieth the Lorde, Beholde, against this familie haue I deuised a plague, whereout yee shall not plucke your neckes, and ye shall not go so proudly, for this time is euill.
10Take counsell together, yet it shall be brought to nought: pronounce a decree, yet shall it not stand: for God is with vs.
9Beholde, the day of the Lorde commeth, cruel, with wrath and fierce anger to lay the land wast: and he shall destroy the sinners out of it.

13Consume them in thy wrath: consume them that they be no more: and let them knowe that God ruleth in Iaakob, euen vnto the ends of the world. Selah.
15For the day of the Lorde is neere, vpon all the heathen: as thou hast done, it shall bee done to thee: thy reward shall returne vpon thine head.

12And at that time will I searche Ierusalem with lightes, and visite the men that are frosen in their dregges, & say in their heartes, The Lord will neither doe good nor doe euill.
13Therefore their goods shall be spoyled, and their houses waste: they shall also build houses, but not inhabite them, and they shall plant vineyards, but not drinke the wine thereof.
7But he thinketh not so, neither doeth his heart esteeme it so: but he imagineth to destroy and to cut off not a fewe nations.
25But yet a very litle time, and the wrath shall be consumed, and mine anger in their destruction.
26And ye Lord of hostes shal raise vp a scourge for him, according to the plague of Midian in the rocke Oreb: & as his staffe was vpon the Sea, so he will lift it vp after the maner of Egypt.
18And your couenant with death shalbe disanulled, and your agreement with hell shall not stand: when a scourge shall runne ouer and passe through, then shall ye be trode downe by it.
10Clime vp vpon their walles, and destroy them, but make not a full ende: take away their batilments, for they are not the Lords.
8Come, and behold the workes of the Lord, what desolations he hath made in the earth.
19God shall heare and afflict them, euen hee that reigneth of olde, Selah. because they haue no changes, therefore they feare not God.
7(When the wicked growe as the grasse, and all the workers of wickednesse doe flourish) that they shall be destroyed for euer.
5So shal God destroy thee for euer: he shal take thee and plucke thee out of thy tabernacle, and roote thee out of ye land of the liuing. Selah.

22Nowe therefore be no mockers, least your bondes increase: for I haue heard of the Lorde of hostes a consumption, euen determined vpon the whole earth.
