7Sanctify yourselves therefore, and be ye holy: for I [am] the LORD your God.
4¶ As concerning therefore the eating of those things that are offered in sacrifice unto idols, we know that an idol [is] nothing in the world, and that [there is] none other God but one.
5For though there be that are called gods, whether in heaven or in earth, (as there be gods many, and lords many,)
14Wherefore, my dearly beloved, flee from idolatry.

32And that which cometh into your mind shall not be at all, that ye say, We will be as the heathen, as the families of the countries, to serve wood and stone.
9For we are labourers together with God: ye are God's husbandry, [ye are] God's building.
8And let them make me a sanctuary; that I may dwell among them.
2Ye know that ye were Gentiles, carried away unto these dumb idols, even as ye were led.
3[Forasmuch as ye are] manifestly declared to be the epistle of Christ ministered by us, written not with ink, but with the Spirit of the living God; not in tables of stone, but in fleshy tables of the heart.
10And come and stand before me in this house, which is called by my name, and say, We are delivered to do all these abominations?
26And ye shall be holy unto me: for I the LORD [am] holy, and have severed you from [other] people, that ye should be mine.
17¶ This I say therefore, and testify in the Lord, that ye henceforth walk not as other Gentiles walk, in the vanity of their mind,
6Therefore say unto the house of Israel, Thus saith the Lord GOD; Repent, and turn [yourselves] from your idols; and turn away your faces from all your abominations.
19What say I then? that the idol is any thing, or that which is offered in sacrifice to idols is any thing?
11That the house of Israel may go no more astray from me, neither be polluted any more with all their transgressions; but that they may be my people, and I may be their God, saith the Lord GOD.
13Meats for the belly, and the belly for meats: but God shall destroy both it and them. Now the body [is] not for fornication, but for the Lord; and the Lord for the body.
