And they shall say to the elders of his city, This our son is stubborn and rebellious, he will not obey our voice; he is a glutton and a drunkard.

18Chasten your son while there is hope, and do not spare for his crying.
15My son, do not walk in the way with them, hold back your foot from their path;
12Come, they say, I will fetch wine, and we will fill ourselves with strong drink; and tomorrow shall be as this day, and much more abundant.
18And the elders of that city shall take that man and chastise him.
11And all Israel shall hear, and fear, and shall do no more any such wickedness as this among you.
5Lest they drink and forget the law, and pervert the judgment of any of the afflicted.
