16And it shall be at that day, says the LORD, that you shall call me Ishi; and shall call me no more Baali.
2So I bought her for myself for fifteen pieces of silver, and a homer of barley, and a half homer of barley.
3And I said to her, You shall stay for me many days; you shall not play the prostitute, and you shall not be for another man: so will I also be for you.
8For I, the Lord, love justice, I hate robbery for burnt offering; and I will direct their work in truth, and I will make an everlasting covenant with them.

23And I will plant her for me in the earth; and I will have mercy on her who had not obtained mercy; and I will say to those who were not my people, You are my people; and they shall say, You are my God.
6For the LORD has called you as a woman forsaken and grieved in spirit, and a wife of youth, when you were refused, says your God.
7For a small moment have I forsaken you; but with great mercies will I gather you.
8In a little wrath I hid my face from you for a moment; but with everlasting kindness will I have mercy on you, says the LORD your Redeemer.
9For this is as the waters of Noah unto me: for as I have sworn that the waters of Noah should no more go over the earth; so have I sworn that I would not be angry with you, nor rebuke you.
20Surely, as a wife treacherously departs from her husband, so have you dealt treacherously with me, O house of Israel, says the LORD.
9Therefore I will return, and take away my grain in its time, and my wine in its season, and will recover my wool and my flax given to cover her nakedness.
10And now I will expose her lewdness in the sight of her lovers, and none shall rescue her out of my hand.
31Behold, the days are coming, says the LORD, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah:
32Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt; which my covenant they broke, although I was a husband to them, says the LORD:
33But this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, says the LORD, I will put my law within them, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people.
10I will greatly rejoice in the Lord, my soul shall be joyful in my God; for He has clothed me with the garments of salvation, He has covered me with the robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom decks himself with ornaments, and as a bride adorns herself with her jewels.
38And I will judge you, as women that break wedlock and shed blood are judged; and I will give you blood in fury and jealousy.
22And you shall be my people, and I will be your God.
14Yet you say, Why? Because the LORD has been witness between you and the wife of your youth, against whom you have dealt treacherously; yet she is your companion and the wife of your covenant.
28My mercy I will keep for him forevermore, and my covenant shall stand fast with him.
2For I have said, Mercy shall be built up forever; your faithfulness you shall establish in the very heavens.
40And I will make an everlasting covenant with them, that I will not turn away from them, to do them good; but I will put my fear in their hearts, that they shall not depart from me.
41Yes, I will rejoice over them to do them good, and I will plant them in this land assuredly with my whole heart and with my whole soul.
11Judah has dealt treacherously, and an abomination is committed in Israel and in Jerusalem; for Judah has profaned the holiness of the LORD which he loved, and has married the daughter of a foreign god.
1They say, If a man divorces his wife, and she leaves him and becomes another man's wife, shall he return to her again? Would not that land be greatly defiled? But you have played the harlot with many lovers; yet return again to me, says the LORD.
11The voice of joy and the voice of gladness, the voice of the bridegroom and the voice of the bride, the voice of those who shall say, Praise the LORD of hosts: for the LORD is good; for His mercy endures forever: and of those who shall bring the sacrifice of praise into the house of the LORD. For I will cause the captivity of the land to return, as at the first, says the LORD.
7I will mention the lovingkindnesses of the LORD, and the praises of the LORD, according to all that the LORD has bestowed on us, and the great goodness toward the house of Israel, which he has bestowed on them according to his mercies, and according to the multitude of his lovingkindnesses.
37And I will cause you to pass under the rod, and I will bring you into the bond of the covenant:
20For from of old I have broken your yoke, and burst your bonds; and you said, I will not transgress; when upon every high hill and under every green tree you wandered, playing the harlot.
26Moreover, I will make a covenant of peace with them; it shall be an everlasting covenant with them: and I will place them, and multiply them, and will set my sanctuary in the midst of them forevermore.
11I adorned you also with ornaments, and I put bracelets on your hands, and a chain on your neck.
2For I am jealous for you with godly jealousy: for I have betrothed you to one husband, that I may present you as a pure virgin to Christ.
21As for me, this is my covenant with them, says the Lord: My Spirit that is upon you, and my words which I have put in your mouth, shall not depart out of your mouth, nor out of the mouth of your descendants, nor out of the mouth of the descendants of your descendants, says the Lord, from this time forth and forever.
9For I will have respect for you, and make you fruitful, and multiply you, and establish my covenant with you.
7And she shall pursue her lovers, but she shall not overtake them; and she shall seek them, but shall not find them: then she shall say, I will go and return to my first husband; for it was better with me then than now.
