Therefore thus says the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Behold, I will feed them, even this people, with wormwood, and give them water of gall to drink.

13I will surely consume them, says the LORD: there shall be no grapes on the vine, nor figs on the fig tree, and the leaf shall wither; and the things that I have given them shall pass away from them.
14Why do we sit still? Assemble yourselves, let us enter into the fortified cities, and let us be silent there: for the LORD our God has put us to silence, and given us bitter water to drink, because we have sinned against the LORD.
9And I will deliver them to be removed into all the kingdoms of the earth for their harm, to be a reproach and a proverb, a taunt and a curse, in all places where I shall drive them.
10And I will send the sword, the famine, and the pestilence, among them, till they are consumed from the land that I gave to them and to their fathers.
13And the LORD said, Even thus shall the children of Israel eat their defiled bread among the Gentiles, where I will drive them.
4And though they go into captivity before their enemies, from there I will command the sword, and it shall slay them; and I will set my eyes upon them for evil, and not for good.
14But have walked after the imagination of their own heart, and after Baalim, which their fathers taught them:
7Therefore thus says the LORD of hosts, Behold, I will melt them, and test them; for how shall I do for the daughter of my people?
12Therefore behold, the days come, says the LORD, that I will send to him wanderers, who shall cause him to wander, and shall empty his vessels and break their bottles.
16And the people to whom they prophesy shall be cast out in the streets of Jerusalem because of the famine and the sword; they will have no one to bury them—neither them, their wives, nor their sons, nor their daughters—for I will pour their wickedness upon them.
9Thus says the LORD, After this manner will I mar the pride of Judah, and the great pride of Jerusalem.
19Remembering my affliction and my misery, the wormwood and the gall.
15For the LORD shall strike Israel, as a reed is shaken in the water, and he shall uproot Israel out of this good land, which he gave to their fathers, and shall scatter them beyond the river, because they have made their groves, provoking the LORD to anger.
17Moreover the word of the LORD came to me, saying,

14Give them, O LORD: what will you give? Give them a miscarrying womb and dry breasts.
13Then you shall say to them, Thus says the LORD, Behold, I will fill all the inhabitants of this land, even the kings that sit on David's throne, and the priests, and the prophets, and all the inhabitants of Jerusalem, with drunkenness.
9Shall I not visit them for these things? says the LORD: shall not my soul be avenged on such a nation as this?
22Therefore thus says the LORD of hosts, Behold, I will punish them: the young men shall die by the sword; their sons and their daughters shall die by famine:
5You feed them with the bread of tears and give them tears to drink in great measure.

7Then I will cut off Israel from the land which I have given them; and this house, which I have hallowed for My name, I will cast out of My sight; and Israel shall be a proverb and a byword among all people:
13For my people have committed two evils; they have forsaken me, the fountain of living waters, and carved themselves cisterns, broken cisterns that can hold no water.
10Thus says the LORD to this people, 'Thus they have loved to wander, they have not restrained their feet; therefore the LORD does not accept them; He will now remember their iniquity and punish their sins.'
7And I will make void the counsel of Judah and Jerusalem in this place; and I will cause them to fall by the sword before their enemies, and by the hands of those who seek their lives: and their corpses will I give to be food for the birds of the heavens, and for the beasts of the earth.
19And as for my flock, they eat what you have trodden with your feet; and they drink what you have fouled with your feet.
14You shall eat, but not be satisfied; hunger shall be in your midst; you shall take hold, but shall not deliver; and what you deliver I will give up to the sword.
17That they may lack bread and water, and be dismayed one with another, and waste away for their iniquity.
12When they fast, I will not hear their cry; and when they offer burnt offering and grain offering, I will not accept them. But I will consume them by the sword, by famine, and by pestilence.
16I also will do this unto you; I will even appoint over you terror, consumption, and the burning fever, that shall consume the eyes, and cause sorrow of heart: and you shall sow your seed in vain, for your enemies shall eat it.
36And now therefore thus says the LORD, the God of Israel, concerning this city, of which you say, It shall be delivered into the hand of the king of Babylon by the sword, and by the famine, and by the pestilence;
3And death shall be chosen rather than life by all the remnant of those that remain of this evil family, who remain in all the places where I have driven them, says the LORD of hosts.
