And he said to them, Truly I say to you, that there are some standing here who shall not taste death until they see the kingdom of God come with power.

And after six days Jesus took with him Peter, James, and John, and led them up onto a high mountain by themselves; and he was transfigured before them.

And Peter answered and said to Jesus, Master, it is good for us to be here; let us make three tents: one for you, and one for Moses, and one for Elijah.

For he did not know what to say, for they were greatly afraid.

And one of the multitude answered and said, Master, I have brought to you my son, who has a mute spirit;

And wherever it seizes him, it throws him down; he foams at the mouth, gnashes his teeth, and becomes rigid; and I spoke to your disciples that they should cast it out, but they could not.

And wheresoever he taketh him, he teareth him: and he foameth, and gnasheth with his teeth, and pineth away: and I spake to thy disciples that they should cast him out; and they could not.

He answered and said to him, O faithless generation, how long shall I be with you? How long shall I put up with you? Bring him to me.

He answereth him, and saith, O faithless generation, how long shall I be with you? how long shall I suffer you? bring him unto me.

And they brought him to him; and when he saw him, immediately the spirit convulsed him, and he fell on the ground and wallowed, foaming at the mouth.

And they brought him unto him: and when he saw him, straightway the spirit tare him; and he fell on the ground, and wallowed foaming.

And he asked his father, How long has this been happening to him? And he said, From childhood.

And he asked his father, How long is it ago since this came unto him? And he said, Of a child.

And often it has thrown him into the fire and into the water to destroy him; but if you can do anything, have compassion on us and help us.

And ofttimes it hath cast him into the fire, and into the waters, to destroy him: but if thou canst do any thing, have compassion on us, and help us.

Jesus said to him, If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes.

Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth.

Immediately the father of the child cried out, and said with tears, Lord, I believe; help my unbelief.

When Jesus saw that the people came running together, he rebuked the unclean spirit, saying to it, You mute and deaf spirit, I command you, come out of him and enter him no more.

But Jesus said, Do not forbid him, for no one who works a miracle in my name can soon afterward speak evil of me.

For he who is not against us is on our side.

For whoever gives you a cup of water to drink in my name, because you belong to Christ, truly I say to you, he shall not lose his reward.

And whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in me to stumble, it is better for him if a millstone were hung around his neck and he were thrown into the sea.

And whosoever shall offend one of these little ones that believe in me, it is better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and he were cast into the sea.

And if your hand causes you to sin, cut it off; it is better for you to enter into life maimed, than having two hands to go to hell, into the fire that shall never be quenched;

And if thy hand offend thee, cut it off: it is better for thee to enter into life maimed, than having two hands to go into hell, into the fire that never shall be quenched:

Where their worm does not die, and the fire is not quenched.

Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched.

And if your foot causes you to sin, cut it off; it is better for you to enter life lame, than having two feet to be cast into hell, into the fire that shall never be quenched;

And if thy foot offend thee, cut it off: it is better for thee to enter halt into life, than having two feet to be cast into hell, into the fire that never shall be quenched:

Where their worm does not die, and the fire is not quenched.

Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched.

And if your eye causes you to sin, pluck it out; it is better for you to enter the kingdom of God with one eye, than having two eyes to be cast into hell fire;

And if thine eye offend thee, pluck it out: it is better for thee to enter into the kingdom of God with one eye, than having two eyes to be cast into hell fire:

Where their worm does not die, and the fire is not quenched.

Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched.

For everyone will be seasoned with fire, and every sacrifice will be seasoned with salt.

For every one shall be salted with fire, and every sacrifice shall be salted with salt.

Salt is good, but if the salt loses its flavor, how will you season it? Have salt in yourselves, and have peace with one another.

Salt is good: but if the salt have lost his saltness, wherewith will ye season it? Have salt in yourselves, and have peace one with another.
