11so that the house of Israel will no longer go astray from me, nor continue to defile themselves by all their sins. They will be my people and I will be their God, declares the Sovereign LORD.’”
17Yes, I will restore you to health. I will heal your wounds. I, the LORD, affirm it! For you have been called an outcast, Zion, whom no one cares for.”
5Here then, this is what the LORD of Heaven’s Armies has said:‘Think carefully about what you are doing.
14I will place my breath in you and you will live; I will give you rest in your own land. Then you will know that I am the LORD– I have spoken and I will act, declares the LORD.’”
3Pay attention and come to me! Listen, so you can live! Then I will make an unconditional covenantal promise to you, just like the reliable covenantal promises I made to David.
22Come back to me, you wayward people. I want to cure your waywardness. Say,‘Here we are. We come to you because you are the LORD our God.
7“‘Therefore, you shepherds, listen to the LORD’s message:
16The LORD said to his people:“You are standing at the crossroads. So consider your path. Ask where the old, reliable paths are. Ask where the path is that leads to blessing and follow it. If you do, you will find rest for your souls.” But they said,“We will not follow it!”
2If they ask you,‘Where should we go?’ tell them the LORD says this:“Those who are destined to die of disease will go to death by disease. Those who are destined to die in war will go to death in war. Those who are destined to die of starvation will go to death by starvation. Those who are destined to go into exile will go into exile.”
