Defeat of King Og of Bashan Next we set out on the route to Bashan, but King Og of Bashan and his whole army came out to meet us in battle at Edrei.

  • 19Israel sent messengers to King Sihon, the Amorite king who ruled in Heshbon, and said to him,“Please allow us to pass through your land to our land.”

  • 24When they approached the Israelite camp, the Israelites rose up and struck down the Moabites, who then ran from them. The Israelites thoroughly defeated Moab.
