13I am the God of Bethel, where you anointed the sacred stone and made a vow to me. Now leave this land immediately and return to your native land.’”
15I am with you! I will protect you wherever you go and will bring you back to this land. I will not leave you until I have done what I promised you!”
10So now go, and I will send you to Pharaoh to bring my people, the Israelites, out of Egypt.”
11Moses said to God,“Who am I, that I should go to Pharaoh, or that I should bring the Israelites out of Egypt?”
12He replied,“Surely I will be with you, and this will be the sign to you that I have sent you: When you bring the people out of Egypt, you and they will serve God at this mountain.”
3Jacob said to Joseph,“The Sovereign God appeared to me at Luz in the land of Canaan and blessed me.
4He said to me,‘I am going to make you fruitful and will multiply you. I will make you into a group of nations, and I will give this land to your descendants as an everlasting possession.’
3but I took your father Abraham from beyond the Euphrates and brought him into the entire land of Canaan. I made his descendants numerous; I gave him Isaac,
5“that they may believe that the LORD, the God of their fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, has appeared to you.”
24Then Joseph said to his brothers,“I am about to die. But God will surely come to you and lead you up from this land to the land he swore on oath to give to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.”
13Remember Abraham, Isaac, and Israel your servants, to whom you swore by yourself and told them,‘I will multiply your descendants like the stars of heaven, and all this land that I have spoken about I will give to your descendants, and they will inherit it forever.’”

15Then he blessed Joseph and said,“May the God before whom my fathers Abraham and Isaac walked– the God who has been my shepherd all my life long to this day,

13Today he will affirm that you are his people and that he is your God, just as he promised you and as he swore by oath to your ancestors Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.
53May the God of Abraham and the god of Nahor, the gods of their father, judge between us.” Jacob took an oath by the God whom his father Isaac feared.
19But his father refused and said,“I know, my son, I know. He too will become a nation and he too will become great. In spite of this, his younger brother will be even greater and his descendants will become a multitude of nations.”
21So now, don’t be afraid. I will provide for you and your little children.” Then he consoled them and spoke kindly to them.
11Israel said to Joseph,“I never expected to see you again, but now God has allowed me to see your children too.”
