6But Christ is faithful as a son over God’s house. We are of his house, if in fact we hold firmly to our confidence and the hope we take pride in.
24For in hope we were saved. Now hope that is seen is not hope, because who hopes for what he sees?
25But if we hope for what we do not see, we eagerly wait for it with endurance.
12Therefore, since we have such a hope, we behave with great boldness,

1The Lord’s Discipline Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, we must get rid of every weight and the sin that clings so closely, and run with endurance the race set out for us,
2keeping our eyes fixed on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of our faith. For the joy set out for him he endured the cross, disregarding its shame, and has taken his seat at the right hand of the throne of God.
7And so, since we have been justified by his grace, we become heirs with the confident expectation of eternal life.”

13Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you believe in him, so that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.
18Pray for us, for we are sure that we have a clear conscience and desire to conduct ourselves rightly in every respect.
