  • 41But Moses said,“Why are you now transgressing the commandment of the LORD? It will not succeed!

  • 11The Intercession of Moses So Aaron said to Moses,“O my lord, please do not hold this sin against us, in which we have acted foolishly and have sinned!

  • 18Now today you dare to turn back from following the LORD! You are rebelling today against the LORD; tomorrow he may break out in anger against the entire community of Israel.

  • 5Then Moses and Aaron fell down with their faces to the ground before the whole assembled community of the Israelites.

  • 1Responsibilities of the Priests The LORD said to Aaron,“You and your sons and your tribe with you must bear the iniquity of the sanctuary, and you and your sons with you must bear the iniquity of your priesthood.

  • 26And he said to the community,“Move away from the tents of these wicked men, and do not touch anything they have, lest you be destroyed because of all their sins.”

  • 10Then Moses and Aaron gathered the community together in front of the rock, and he said to them,“Listen, you rebels, must we bring water out of this rock for you?”

  • 24So the people murmured against Moses, saying,“What can we drink?”
