16And said vnto him, Beholde nowe, there be with thy seruants fiftie strong men: let them go, we pray thee, and seeke thy master, if so be the Spirite of the Lord hath taken him vp, and cast him vpon some mountaine, or into some valley. But he said, Ye shall not sende.
17Yet they were instant vpon him, til he was ashamed: wherefore he saide, Sende. So they sent fiftie men, which sought three dayes, but founde him not.
18So they came downe to him, but Elisha prayed vnto the Lord, and said, Smite this people, I pray thee, with blindnesse; he smote them with blindnes, according to the worde of Elisha.
19And Elisha said vnto them, This is not the way, neither is this the citie: followe me, and I will leade you to the man whome ye seeke. But he ledde them to Samaria.
20And when they were come to Samaria, Elisha saide, Lorde, open their eyes that they may see; the Lorde opened their eyes, and they saw, & beholde, they were in the mids of Samaria.
5And the messengers returned vnto him, to whome he said, Why are ye nowe returned?
6And they answered him, There came a man and met vs, and saide vnto vs, Goe, and returne vnto the King which sent you, and say vnto him, Thus saith the Lorde, Is it not because there is no God in Israel, that thou sendest to enquire of Baal-zebub the God of Ekron? 19And the men of the citie saide vnto Elisha, Beholde, we pray thee: the situation of this citie is pleasant, as thou, my lorde, seest, but the water is naught, and the ground baren.
20Then he saide, Bring me a newe cruse, and put salt therein; they brought it to him.
21And he went vnto the spring of the waters, and cast there the salt, and said, Thus saith the Lorde, I haue healed this water: death shall no more come thereof, neither barennesse to the ground.
22So the waters were healed vntill this day, according to the worde of Elisha which hee had spoken.

9For so was it charged mee by the worde of the Lorde, saying, Eate no bread nor drinke water, nor turne againe by the same way that thou camest.
10So he went another way and returned not by the way that he came to Beth-el.

22But camest backe againe, and hast eaten bread and drunke water in the place (whereof he did say vnto thee, Thou shalt eate no bread nor drinke any water) thy carkeis shall not come vnto the sepulchre of thy fathers.
25So he went from thence to mount Carmel, and from thence he returned to Samaria.
14So he departed from Elisha, and came to his master, who said to him, What saide Elisha to thee? And he answered, Hee tolde mee that thou shouldest recouer.
9Wherefore hee sayde vnto the messengers of Ben-hadad, Tell my lorde the King, All that thou didddest sende for to thy seruant at the first time, that I will doe, but this thing I may not do; the messengers departed, and brought him an answere.

17And the King of Israel sayde to Iehoshaphat, Did I not tell thee, that he would not prophesie good vnto me, but euill?
43And sayde to his seruant, Goe vp now and looke towarde the way of the Sea; he went vp, and looked, and sayde, There is nothing. Againe he sayd, Goe againe seuen times.
26And hee sent him home to his house, saying, Neither goe into the towne, nor tell it to any in the towne.
12And their father sayde vnto them, What way went he? and his sonnes shewed him what waye the man of God went, which came from Iudah.

20And he left the oxen, and ran after Eliiah, and sayde, Let mee, I pray thee, kisse my father and my mother, and then I wil follow thee. Who answered him, Go, returne: for what haue I done to thee?
19Vnto whome he saide, Goe in peace. So he departed from him about halfe a dayes iourney of grounde.
20And the watchman tolde, saying, He came to them also, but commeth not againe, and the marching is like the marching of Iehu the sonne of Nimshi: for he marcheth furiously.
30Then came he to the second, and said likewise; he answered, and said, I will, Syr: yet he went not.
2Let vs nowe goe to Iorden, that we may take thence euery man a beame, and make vs a place to dwell in; he answered, Goe.
3And one said, Vouchsafe, I pray thee, to go with thy seruants, and he answered, I will goe.
11And now thou sayest, Goe, tell thy lorde, Beholde, Eliiah is here.
9Therefore the man of God sent vnto the King of Israel, saying, Beware thou goe not ouer to such a place: for there the Aramites are come downe.
10So the King of Israel sent to the place which the man of God tolde him, and warned him of, and saued himselfe from thence, not once, nor twise.
8Then said he, What way shall we goe vp? And he answered, The way of the wildernesse of Edom.
14And went after the man of God, & found him sitting vnder an oke: and he saide vnto him, Art thou the man of God that camest from Iudah? And he sayd, Yea.
10And Elisha sayd to him, Goe, and say vnto him, Thou shalt recouer: howbeit the Lord hath shewed me, that he shall surely dye.

18So there went one on horseback to meete him, and sayde, Thus sayth the King, Is it peace? And Iehu sayd, What hast thou to do with peace? Turne behinde me; the watchman tolde, saying, The messenger came to them, but he commeth not againe.
22And he answered, Thou shalt not smite them: doest thou not smite them that thou hast taken with thy sworde, and with thy bowe? but set bread and water before them, that they may eate and drinke and goe to their master.
29Then he sayd to Gehazi, Gird thy loynes, and take my staffe in thine hand, & goe thy way: if thou meete any, salute him not: and if any salute thee, answere him not: and laye my staffe vpon the face of the childe.
