Verse 13

Then came a messenger to Dauid, saying, The hearts of the men of Israel are turned after Absalom.

Judg 9:3 : 3 Then his mothers brethren spake of him in the audience of all the men of Shechem, all these wordes: and their hearts were moued to followe Abimelech: for sayd they, He is our brother.
2 Sam 15:6 : 6 And on this maner did Absalom to al Israel, that came to the King for iudgement: so Absalom stale the hearts of the men of Israel.
Ps 62:9 : 9 Yet the children of men are vanitie, the chiefe men are lies: to lay them vpon a balance they are altogether lighter then vanitie.
