24Of the sonnes of Gad by their generations, by their families, and by the houses of their fathers, according to the nomber of their names, from twentie yere olde and aboue, all that went forth to warre:
25The number of them, I say, of the tribe of Gad was fiue and fourtie thousand, and six hundreth and fiftie.

33And the saying pleased the children of Israel: and the children of Israel blessed God, and minded not to goe against them in battell, for to destroy the land, wherein the children of Reuben, and Gad dwelt.
27Beniamin shall rauine as a wolfe: in the morning he shall deuoure the pray, and at night he shal deuide the spoyle.

34Then the children of Gad built Dibon, and Ataroth, and Aroer,
18So Gad came the same day to Dauid, and said vnto him, Go vp, reare an altar vnto the Lord in the threshing floore of Araunah the Iebusite.
20So he blessed them that day, and sayde, In thee Israel shall blesse, and say, God make thee as Ephraim and as Manasseh; he set Ephraim before Manasseh.
21(39:24) He diggeth in the valley, and reioyceth in his strength: he goeth foorth to meete the harnest man.
17And he hath cast the lot for them, and his hand hath deuided it vnto them by line: they shal possesse it for euer: from generation to generation shall they dwell in it.
7He shall drinke of the brooke in the way: therefore shall he lift vp his head.
29Blessed art thou, O Israel: who is like vnto thee, O people saued by the Lorde, the shielde of thine helpe, and which is the sword of thy glorie? therefore thine enemies shall bee in subiection to thee, and thou shalt tread vpon their hie places.
12Like as a lyon that is greedy of pray, and as it were a lyons whelp lurking in secret places.
21Surely God will wound the head of his enemies, and the hearie pate of him that walketh in his sinnes.
4And he said, Blessed be the Lord God of Israel, who spake with his mouth vnto Dauid my father, & hath with his hand fulfilled it, saying,
11So Gad came to Dauid, and sayde vnto him, Thus saith the Lord, Take to thee
