12And after they were warned of God in a dreame, that they should not go againe to Herod, ther returned into their countrey another way.

1When Iesvs then was borne at Bethleem in Iudea, in the dayes of Herod the King, beholde, there came Wisemen from the East to Hierusalem,

8And sent them to Beth-leem, saying, Goe, and searche diligently for the babe: and when ye haue founde him, bring mee worde againe, that I may come also, and worship him.
9So when they had heard the King, they departed: and loe, the starre which they had seene in the East, went before them, till it came and stoode ouer the place where the babe was.
10And when they sawe the starre, they reioyced with an exceeding great ioy,

2The which Ieremiah the Prophet spake vnto all the people of Iudah, and to all the inhabitants of Ierusalem, saying,
34O Hierusalem, Hierusalem, which killest the Prophets, and stonest them that are sent to thee, howe often would I haue gathered thy children together, as the henne gathereth her brood vnder her wings, and ye would not!
12And this shalbe a signe to you, Yee shall finde the babe swadled, and laid in a cratch.
36Verely I say vnto you, all these things shall come vpon this generation.
37Hierusalem, Hierusalem, which killest the Prophets, and stonest them which are sent to thee, how often would I haue gathered thy children together, as the henne gathereth her chickins vnder her wings, and ye would not!
12Then came the word of the Lord vnto Ieremiah, saying,
22For these be the dayes of vengeance, to fulfill all things that are written.
23But woe be to them that be with childe, and to them that giue sucke in those dayes: for there shalbe great distresse in this land, and wrath ouer this people.
6Then came the worde of the Lord vnto the Prophet Ieremiah, saying,
33And Ioseph and his mother marueiled at those things, which were spoken touching him.
20And the shepheardes returned glorifiyng and praising God, for all that they had heard and seene as it was spoken vnto them.
17Then wo shalbe to the that are with child, and to them that giue sucke in those dayes.
12Then spake Ieremiah vnto all the princes, and to al the people, saying, The Lord hath sent me to prophecie against this house and against this citie all the things that ye haue heard.
31So then ye be witnesses vnto your selues, that ye are the children of them that murthered the Prophets.
29For behold, the dayes wil come, when men shall say, Blessed are the barren, and the wombes that neuer bare, and the pappes which neuer gaue sucke.
