And I sayd, Heare, I pray you, O heads of Iaakob, and yee princes of the house of Israel: should not ye knowe iudgement?

Jer 13:15-18 : 15 Heare and giue eare, be not proude: for the Lord hath spoken it. 16 Giue glory to the Lorde your God before he bring darknes, and or euer your feete stumble in the darke mountaines, and whiles you look for light, he turne it into the shadowe of death and make it as darkenesse. 17 But if ye will not heare this, my soule shall weepe in secrete for your pride, and mine eye shall weepe and drop downe teares, because the Lords flocke is caried away captiue. 18 Say vnto the King and to the Queene, Humble yourselues, sit downe, for the crowne of your glorye shall come downe from your heads.
Jer 22:2-3 : 2 And say, Heare the worde of the Lorde, O King of Iudah, that sittest vpon the throne of Dauid, thou and thy seruants, and thy people that enter in by these gates. 3 Thus saith the Lorde, Execute ye iudgement and righteousnes, and deliuer the oppressed from the hande of the oppressor, and vexe not the stranger, the fatherlesse, nor the widowe: doe no violence, nor sheade innocent blood in this place.
Deut 1:13-17 : 13 Bring you men of wisedome and of vnderstanding, and knowen among your tribes, and I will make them rulers ouer you: 14 Then ye answered me and said, The thing is good that thou hast commanded vs to doe. 15 So I tooke the chiefe of your tribes wise and knowen men, & made them rulers ouer you, captaines ouer thousands, and captaines ouer hundreds, and captaines ouer fiftie, and captaines ouer tenne, and officers among your tribes. 16 And I charged your iudges that same time, saying, Heare the controuersies betweene your brethren, and iudge righteously betwene euery man and his brother, and the stranger that is with him. 17 Ye shal haue no respect of person in iudgement, but shall heare the small aswell as the great: yee shall not feare the face of man: for the iudgemet is Gods: and the cause that is too hard for you, bring vnto me, and I will heare it.
Deut 16:18 : 18 Iudges and officers shalt thou make thee in all thy cities, which the Lord thy God giueth thee, throughout thy tribes: and they shall iudge the people with righteous iudgement.
2 Chr 19:5-9 : 5 And hee set iudges in the lande throughout all the strong cities of Iudah, citie by citie, 6 And said to the iudges, Take heede what ye doe: for yee execute not the iudgements of man, but of the Lorde, and he will be with you in the cause and iudgement. 7 Wherefore nowe let the feare of the Lorde be vpon you: take heede, and do it: for there is no iniquitie with the Lord our God, neither respect of persons, nor receiuing of reward. 8 Moreouer in Ierusalem did Iehoshaphat set of the Leuites, and of the Priests and of the chiefe of the families of Israel, for the iudgement and cause of the Lord: & they returned to Ierusale. 9 And he charged them, saying, Thus shall yee doe in the feare of the Lord faithfully and with a perfite heart. 10 And in euery cause that shall come to you of your brethren that dwel in their cities, betweene blood and blood, betweene law and precept, statutes and iudgements, ye shall iudge them, and admonish them that they trespasse not against the Lord, that wrath come not vpon you and vpon your brethren. This shall ye do and trespasse not.
Ps 14:4 : 4 Doe not all the workers of iniquitie know that they eate vp my people, as they eate bread? They call not vpon the Lord.
