And they shall comfort{H5162}{(H8765)} you, when ye see{H7200}{(H8799)} their ways{H1870} and their doings{H5949}: and ye shall know{H3045}{(H8804)} that I have not done{H6213}{(H8804)} without cause{H2600} all that I have done{H6213}{(H8804)} in it, saith{H5002}{(H8803)} the Lord{H136} GOD{H3069}.

Is it a light thing{H7043}{(H8738)} to the house{H1004} of Judah{H3063} that they commit{H6213}{(H8800)} the abominations{H8441} which they commit{H6213}{(H8804)} here? for they have filled{H4390}{(H8804)} the land{H776} with violence{H2555}, and have returned{H7725}{(H8799)} to provoke me to anger{H3707}{(H8687)}: and, lo, they put{H7971}{(H8802)} the branch{H2156} to their nose{H639}. 18 Therefore will I also deal{H6213}{(H8799)} in fury{H2534}: mine eye{H5869} shall not spare{H2347}{(H8799)}, neither will I have pity{H2550}{(H8799)}: and though they cry{H7121}{(H8804)} in mine ears{H241} with a loud{H1419} voice{H6963}, yet will I not hear{H8085}{(H8799)} them.

And he said{H559}{(H8799)}, I will not do{H6213}{(H8799)} it, if I find{H4672}{(H8799)} thirty{H7970} there. 31 And he said{H559}{(H8799)}, Behold now, I have taken upon me{H2974}{(H8689)} to speak{H1696}{(H8763)} unto the Lord{H136}: Peradventure there shall be twenty{H6242} found{H4672}{(H8735)} there. And he said{H559}{(H8799)}, I will not destroy{H7843}{(H8686)} it for twenty's{H6242} sake. 32 And he said{H559}{(H8799)}, Oh let not the Lord{H136} be angry{H2734}{(H8799)}, and I will speak{H1696}{(H8762)} yet{H389} but this once{H6471}: Peradventure ten{H6235} shall be found{H4672}{(H8735)} there. And he said{H559}{(H8799)}, I will not destroy{H7843}{(H8686)} it for ten's{H6235} sake. 33 And the LORD{H3068} went his way{H3212}{(H8799)}, as soon as{H834} he had left{H3615}{(H8765)} communing{H1696}{(H8763)} with Abraham{H85}: and Abraham{H85} returned{H7725}{(H8804)} unto his place{H4725}.
Deut 8:2 : 2 And thou shalt remember{H2142}{(H8804)} all the way{H1870} which the LORD{H3068} thy God{H430} led{H3212}{(H8689)} thee these forty{H705} years{H8141} in the wilderness{H4057}, to humble{H6031}{(H8763)} thee, and to prove{H5254}{(H8763)} thee, to know{H3045}{(H8800)} what was in thine heart{H3824}, whether thou wouldest keep{H8104}{(H8799)} his commandments{H4687}, or no.
