10Therefore, behold, I will bring evil upon the house of Jeroboam, and will cut off from Jeroboam him who urinates against the wall, and him who is shut up and left in Israel, and will take away the remnant of the house of Jeroboam, as a man takes away dung, until it is all gone.
11Anyone of Jeroboam who dies in the city shall the dogs eat; and anyone who dies in the field shall the birds of the air eat: for the LORD has spoken it.
12Arise therefore, go to your own house: and when your feet enter into the city, the child shall die.
13And all Israel shall mourn for him, and bury him: for he only of Jeroboam shall come to the grave, because in him there is found some good thing toward the LORD God of Israel in the house of Jeroboam.
14Moreover the LORD shall raise up a king over Israel, who shall cut off the house of Jeroboam that day: but what? even now.
16Thus says the LORD, Behold, I will bring evil upon this place, and upon its inhabitants, all the words of the book which the king of Judah has read:
13But do not prophesy again anymore at Bethel: for it is the king's sanctuary, and it is the royal house.
9And the high places of Isaac shall be desolate, and the sanctuaries of Israel shall be laid waste; and I will rise against the house of Jeroboam with the sword.
22And will make your house like the house of Jeroboam the son of Nebat, and like the house of Baasha the son of Ahijah, for the provocation with which you have provoked me to anger, and made Israel to sin.
15Thus shall Bethel do to you because of your great wickedness: in the morning shall the king of Israel utterly be cut off.
21And this house, which is exalted, shall be an astonishment to everyone who passes by it; so that they will say, Why has the LORD done this to this land and to this house?
26And Jeroboam said in his heart, Now the kingdom shall return to the house of David.
27If this people go up to offer sacrifices in the house of the LORD at Jerusalem, then the heart of this people shall turn again to their lord, even to Rehoboam king of Judah, and they shall kill me, and return to Rehoboam king of Judah.
21And he cried to the man of God that came from Judah, saying, Thus says the LORD, Because you have disobeyed the mouth of the LORD, and have not kept the commandment which the LORD your God commanded you,
31And he made a house of high places and made priests from all sorts of people, who were not of the sons of Levi.
32And Jeroboam ordained a feast in the eighth month, on the fifteenth day of the month, like the feast that is in Judah, and he offered upon the altar. So he did in Bethel, sacrificing to the calves that he had made, and he placed in Bethel the priests of the high places which he had made.
33So he offered upon the altar that he had made in Bethel the fifteenth day of the eighth month, in the month which he had devised in his own heart; and he ordained a feast for the children of Israel, and offered upon the altar, and burnt incense.
15For behold, I will call all the families of the kingdoms of the north, says the LORD; and they shall come, and every one shall set his throne at the entrance of the gates of Jerusalem, and against all its walls all around, and against all the cities of Judah.
8And now you think to withstand the kingdom of the LORD in the hand of the sons of David; and you are a great multitude, and with you are golden calves, which Jeroboam made for you to be gods.
13And I will stretch over Jerusalem the measuring line of Samaria and the plummet of the house of Ahab: and I will wipe Jerusalem as one wipes a dish, wiping it and turning it upside down.
7And he set a carved image, the idol he had made, in the house of God, of which God had said to David and Solomon his son, 'In this house and in Jerusalem, which I have chosen before all the tribes of Israel, will I put my name forever.'
4He also built altars in the house of the LORD, where the LORD had said, 'In Jerusalem shall my name be forever.'
3Behold, I will utterly sweep away Baasha and his house; I will make your house like the house of Jeroboam the son of Nebat.
8And at this house, which is exalted, everyone who passes by it shall be astonished, and shall hiss; and they shall say, Why has the LORD done this to this land and to this house?
1And the word of the LORD came to me, saying,
5The inhabitants of Samaria shall fear because of the calves of Beth-aven: for its people shall mourn over it, and its priests who rejoiced on it, for its glory, because it has departed from it.
3Speak to Rehoboam the son of Solomon, king of Judah, and to all Israel in Judah and Benjamin, saying,
26And as for the king of Judah, who sent you to inquire of the LORD, so shall you say to him, Thus says the LORD God of Israel concerning the words which you have heard;
15Therefore the king did not listen to the people, for the cause was from the LORD, that he might perform His word, which the LORD spoke by Ahijah the Shilonite to Jeroboam the son of Nebat.
16And he shall give Israel up because of the sins of Jeroboam, who sinned, and who made Israel to sin.
11Concerning the house of the king of Judah, say, Hear the word of the LORD;
