And the king said to him, How many times must I make you swear that you tell me nothing but the truth in the name of the Lord?

43Why then have you not kept the oath of the Lord, and the commandment that I have charged you with?
18But to the king of Judah who sent you to inquire of the LORD, thus shall you say to him, Thus says the LORD God of Israel, As for the words which you have heard;
17And he said, I saw all Israel scattered on the hills, as sheep without a shepherd: and the Lord said, These have no master: let them return every man to his house in peace.
18And the king of Israel said to Jehoshaphat, Did I not tell you that he would prophesy no good concerning me, but evil?
19And he said, Therefore hear the word of the Lord: I saw the Lord sitting on his throne, and all the host of heaven standing by him on his right hand and on his left.
20And the Lord said, Who shall persuade Ahab, that he may go up and fall at Ramothgilead? And one said on this manner, and another said on that manner.
4And Jehoshaphat said to the king of Israel, Please inquire for the word of the LORD today.
5Therefore the king of Israel gathered the prophets together, four hundred men, and said to them, Shall we go to Ramoth-gilead to battle, or shall I refrain? And they said, Go up, for God will deliver it into the king's hand.
17And the king of Israel said to Jehoshaphat, Did I not tell you that he would not prophesy good to me, but evil?
18Again he said, Therefore hear the word of the LORD; I saw the LORD sitting on his throne, and all the host of heaven standing on his right hand and on his left.
19And the LORD said, Who shall entice Ahab king of Israel, that he may go up and fall at Ramoth-gilead? And one spoke saying in this manner, and another saying in that manner.
26And as for the king of Judah, who sent you to inquire of the LORD, so shall you say to him, Thus says the LORD God of Israel concerning the words which you have heard;
22Now therefore, behold, the LORD has put a lying spirit in the mouth of these your prophets, and the LORD has declared disaster against you.
23Then Zedekiah the son of Chenaanah came near, and struck Micaiah on the cheek, and said, Which way did the Spirit of the LORD go from me to speak to you?
24And Micaiah said, Behold, you shall see on that day when you go into an inner chamber to hide yourself.
25Then the king of Israel said, Take Micaiah, and carry him back to Amon the governor of the city, and to Joash the king's son;
26And say, Thus says the king, Put this fellow in prison, and feed him with bread and water of affliction, until I return in peace.
27And Micaiah said, If you certainly return in peace, then the LORD has not spoken by me. And he said, Listen, all you people.
7And the king of Israel said to Jehoshaphat, There is yet one man by whom we may inquire of the LORD, but I hate him, for he never prophesies good to me, but always evil. He is Micaiah the son of Imla. And Jehoshaphat said, Let not the king say so.
8And the king of Israel called for an officer, and said, Bring quickly Micaiah the son of Imla.
18Then the king answered and said to the woman, Do not hide from me, I pray you, the thing that I shall ask you. And the woman said, Let my lord the king now speak.
12And they said, It is false; tell us now. And he said, Thus and thus he spoke to me, saying, Thus says the LORD, I have anointed you king over Israel.

23Now therefore, behold, the Lord has put a lying spirit in the mouth of all of these prophets of yours, and the Lord has spoken evil concerning you.
24But Zedekiah the son of Chenaanah went near, and smote Micaiah on the cheek, and said, Which way did the Spirit of the Lord go from me to speak to you?
16And the king said, You shall surely die, Ahimelech, you, and all your father's house.
10As the LORD your God lives, there is no nation or kingdom where my lord has not sent to seek you: and when they said, He is not there; he made the kingdom and nation swear that they did not find you.
23Then King Solomon swore by the Lord, saying, God do so to me, and more, if Adonijah has not spoken this word against his own life.
