22Therefore say to the house of Israel, Thus says the Lord GOD; I do not this for your sakes, O house of Israel, but for my holy name's sake, which you have profaned among the nations, wherever you went.

11For as the belt clings to the waist of a man, so have I caused the whole house of Israel and the whole house of Judah to cling to me, says the LORD; that they might be to me a people, and a name, and a praise, and a glory: but they would not hear.

30Therefore the LORD God of Israel says, I did indeed say that your house, and the house of your father, should walk before me forever: but now the LORD says, Be it far from me; for those who honor me I will honor, and those who despise me shall be lightly esteemed.
6For you are a holy people unto the LORD your God: the LORD your God has chosen you to be a special people unto himself, above all people that are upon the face of the earth.
29And also the Strength of Israel will not lie nor repent: for He is not a man, that He should repent.
15Only the LORD delighted in your fathers to love them, and he chose their descendants after them, even you above all people, as it is this day.
