    11They gave the money, after it had been counted, into the hands of those who did the work and had oversight of the house of the LORD. They paid it to the carpenters and builders, who worked on the house of the LORD,

    12and to masons and stonecutters, and for buying timber and hewn stone to repair the breaches of the house of the LORD, and for all that was laid out for the house to repair it.

    13However, there were no silver bowls, snuffers, basins, trumpets, any vessels of gold, or vessels of silver made for the house of the LORD from the money that was brought into the house of the LORD,

    14for they gave it to the workmen and repaired the house of the LORD with it.

    15Moreover, they did not require an accounting from the men into whose hand they delivered the money to pay the workmen because they dealt faithfully.

    16The guilt money and sin money were not brought into the house of the LORD; it was the priests’.

    8And Hilkiah the high priest said to Shaphan the scribe, I have found the book of the law in the house of the LORD. And Hilkiah gave the book to Shaphan, and he read it.

    9And Shaphan the scribe came to the king, and brought the king word again, and said, Your servants have gathered the money that was found in the house, and have delivered it into the hand of those who do the work, who have the oversight of the house of the LORD.

    10And Shaphan the scribe showed the king, saying, Hilkiah the priest has delivered me a book. And Shaphan read it before the king.

    17And they have gathered together the money that was found in the house of the LORD, and have delivered it into the hand of the overseers and to the hand of the workmen.

    18Then Shaphan the scribe told the king, saying, Hilkiah the priest has given me a book. And Shaphan read it before the king.

    12And the men did the work faithfully: and the overseers of them were Jahath and Obadiah, the Levites, of the sons of Merari; and Zechariah and Meshullam, of the sons of the Kohathites, to set it forward; and other of the Levites, all who were skilled in instruments of music.
