9For to this end I also wrote, that I might test you and know whether you are obedient in all things.
27I charge you by the Lord that this letter be read to all the holy brothers.
21But that you also may know my affairs, and how I am doing, Tychicus, a beloved brother and faithful minister in the Lord, will make known to you all things:
4That I may make it clear, as I ought to speak.
5For though I am absent in the flesh, yet I am with you in the spirit, rejoicing to see your order, and the steadfastness of your faith in Christ.
8Look to yourselves, that we do not lose those things we have worked for, but that we may receive a full reward.
2And the things that you have heard from me among many witnesses, commit these to faithful men who will be able to teach others also.

10Therefore I write these things being absent, lest being present I should use sharpness, according to the power which the Lord has given me for edification, and not for destruction.
