20So the LORD said,“The outcry against Sodom and Gomorrah is so great and their sin so blatant
9I will surely punish them for doing such things!” says the LORD.“I will surely bring retribution on such a nation as this!”
13I will strike you brutally and destroy you because of your sin.
14But I see the prophets of Jerusalem doing something just as shocking. They are unfaithful to me and continually prophesy lies. So they give encouragement to people who are doing evil, with the result that they do not stop their evildoing. I consider all of them as bad as the people of Sodom, and the citizens of Jerusalem as bad as the people of Gomorrah.
8ח(Khet) The LORD was determined to tear down Daughter Zion’s wall. He prepared to knock it down; he did not withdraw his hand from destroying. He made the ramparts and fortified walls lament; together they mourned their ruin.
24But I tell you, it will be more bearable for the region of Sodom on the day of judgment than for you!”
