3Therefore thus says Yahweh: "Behold, I am planning against these people a disaster, from which you will not remove your necks, neither will you walk haughtily; for it is an evil time.
10Take counsel together, and it will be brought to nothing; speak the word, and it will not stand: for God is with us."
9Behold, the day of Yahweh comes, cruel, with wrath and fierce anger; to make the land a desolation, and to destroy its sinners out of it.
15Therefore his calamity will come suddenly. He will be broken suddenly, and that without remedy.

10You will destroy their descendants from the earth, their posterity from among the children of men.
13Consume them in wrath. Consume them, and they will be no more. Let them know that God rules in Jacob, to the ends of the earth. Selah.
15For the day of Yahweh is near all the nations! As you have done, it will be done to you. Your deeds will return upon your own head.
11Yahweh said, Most certainly I will strengthen you for good; most certainly I will cause the enemy to make supplication to you in the time of evil and in the time of affliction.

13Their wealth will become a spoil, and their houses a desolation. Yes, they will build houses, but won't inhabit them. They will plant vineyards, but won't drink their wine.
7However he doesn't mean so, neither does his heart think so; but it is in his heart to destroy, and to cut off not a few nations.
25For yet a very little while, and the indignation against you will be accomplished, and my anger will be directed to his destruction."
26Yahweh of Armies will stir up a scourge against him, as in the slaughter of Midian at the rock of Oreb. His rod will be over the sea, and he will lift it up like he did against Egypt.
18Your covenant with death shall be annulled, and your agreement with Sheol shall not stand. When the overflowing scourge passes through, then you will be trampled down by it.
10"Go up on her walls, and destroy; but don't make a full end. Take away her branches; for they are not Yahweh's.

2The Lord has swallowed up all the habitations of Jacob, and has not pitied: He has thrown down in his wrath the strongholds of the daughter of Judah; He has brought them down to the ground; he has profaned the kingdom and its princes.
22Now therefore don't be scoffers, lest your bonds be made strong; for I have heard a decree of destruction from the Lord, Yahweh of Armies, on the whole earth.
18The idols shall utterly pass away.
