4or the riches of His goodness, and forbearance, and long-suffering, dost thou despise? -- not knowing that the goodness of God doth lead thee to reformation!
5but, according to thy hardness and impenitent heart, thou dost treasure up to thyself wrath, in a day of wrath and of the revelation of the righteous judgment of God,
6who shall render to each according to his works;
7and the present heavens and the earth, by the same word are treasured, for fire being kept to a day of judgment and destruction of the impious men.

6messengers also, those who did not keep their own principality, but did leave their proper dwelling, to a judgment of a great day, in bonds everlasting, under darkness He hath kept,
18And if the righteous man is scarcely saved, the ungodly and sinner -- where shall he appear?
19sure, nevertheless, hath the foundation of God stood, having this seal, `The Lord hath known those who are His,' and `Let him depart from unrighteousness -- every one who is naming the name of Christ.'
3and stedfast is the Lord, who shall establish you, and shall guard `you' from the evil;
30That to a day of calamity is the wicked spared. To a day of wrath they are brought.
8and to those contentious, and disobedient, indeed, to the truth, and obeying the unrighteousness -- indignation and wrath,

12teaching us, that denying the impiety and the worldly desires, soberly and righteously and piously we may live in the present age,

17Ye, then, beloved, knowing before, take heed, lest, together with the error of the impious being led away, ye may fall from your own stedfastness,
9having known this, that for a righteous man law is not set, but for lawless and insubordinate persons, ungodly and sinners, impious and profane, parricides and matricides, men-slayers,
9whom resist, stedfast in the faith, having known the same sufferings to your brotherhood in the world to be accomplished.
6Righteousness keepeth him who is perfect in the way, And wickedness overthroweth a sin offering.
