Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord has risen upon you.

Then you will see and be radiant, your heart will tremble and swell with joy, because the wealth of the sea will be brought to you, and the riches of the nations will come to you.

Then thou shalt see, and flow together, and thine heart shall fear, and be enlarged; because the abundance of the sea shall be converted unto thee, the forces of the Gentiles shall come unto thee.

A multitude of camels will cover you, the young camels of Midian and Ephah; all those from Sheba will come. They will bring gold and frankincense and will proclaim the praises of the Lord.

Foreigners will rebuild your walls, and their kings will serve you; for though I struck you in my wrath, I will show you compassion in my favor.

The glory of Lebanon will come to you—cypress, pine, and box tree together—to beautify the place of my sanctuary, and I will glorify the place of my feet.

Violence will no longer be heard in your land, nor ruin or destruction within your borders. You will name your walls Salvation and your gates Praise.

The sun will no longer be your light by day, nor the brightness of the moon shine on you, for the Lord will be your everlasting light, and your God will be your glory.

The sun shall be no more thy light by day; neither for brightness shall the moon give light unto thee: but the LORD shall be unto thee an everlasting light, and thy God thy glory.

Your sun will no longer set, and your moon will not wane; for the Lord will be your everlasting light, and your days of mourning will come to an end.

Thy sun shall no more go down; neither shall thy moon withdraw itself: for the LORD shall be thine everlasting light, and the days of thy mourning shall be ended.

Your people will all be righteous; they will inherit the land forever— the branch of my planting, the work of my hands, for my glory.

Thy people also shall be all righteous: they shall inherit the land for ever, the branch of my planting, the work of my hands, that I may be glorified.

The least of you will become a thousand, and the smallest one a mighty nation. I, the Lord, will hasten it in its time.

A little one shall become a thousand, and a small one a strong nation: I the LORD will hasten it in his time.
