21Moreover, you shall select from all the people able men, such as fear God, men of truth, hating covetousness; and place them over them to be rulers of thousands, rulers of hundreds, rulers of fifties, and rulers of tens.
22And let them judge the people at all times. Then it will be that every great matter they shall bring to you, but every small matter they shall judge themselves; so it will be easier for you, for they will bear the burden with you.
25And Moses chose able men out of all Israel, and made them heads over the people, rulers of thousands, rulers of hundreds, rulers of fifties, and rulers of tens.

22And every one of you came near to me, and said, Let us send men before us, and they shall search out the land for us, and bring us back word of the way we must go up and of the cities we will come to.
23And the plan pleased me well: so I took twelve men of you, one man for each tribe:
25And you, Ezra, according to the wisdom of your God that is in your hand, set magistrates and judges, who may judge all the people that are beyond the river, all such as know the laws of your God; and teach those who do not know them.
10You stand this day all of you before the LORD your God: your leaders of your tribes, your elders, and your officers, with all the men of Israel,
18Judges and officers you shall make for yourself in all your gates, which the LORD your God gives you, throughout your tribes: and they shall judge the people with just judgment.
4And with you there shall be a man from every tribe, each one the head of his fathers' house.
9and he said to them, What counsel do you give that we may answer this people, who have spoken to me, saying, Make the yoke which your father put upon us lighter?

12Now therefore take twelve men from the tribes of Israel, one man from each tribe.
16And the LORD said to Moses, Gather to Me seventy men of the elders of Israel, whom you know to be the elders of the people, and officers over them; and bring them to the tabernacle of the congregation, that they may stand there with you.
17And I will come down and talk with you there, and I will take of the Spirit which is upon you, and will put it upon them; and they shall bear the burden of the people with you, that you do not bear it yourself alone.
2The mighty man, and the man of war, the judge, and the prophet, and the wise, and the elder,
11And he said, This will be the manner of the king who shall reign over you: He will take your sons, and appoint them for his own use, for his chariots, and to be his horsemen; and some shall run before his chariots.
12And he will appoint captains over thousands, and captains over fifties; and will set them to plow his ground, and to reap his harvest, and to make his weapons of war, and equipment for his chariots.
16Let the LORD, the God of the spirits of all flesh, set a man over the congregation,
17Who may go out before them and who may come in before them, who may lead them out and who may bring them in; so that the congregation of the LORD will not be like sheep without a shepherd.
9And he said to them, What advice do you give that we may return an answer to this people who have spoken to me, saying, Ease somewhat the yoke that your father did put upon us?
16These were the renowned of the congregation, leaders of the tribes of their fathers, heads of thousands in Israel.
17And Moses and Aaron took these men who were named.
37And I will take you, and you shall reign according to all that your soul desires, and shall be king over Israel.
10I will be your king: where is any other that may save you in all your cities? and your judges of whom you said, Give me a king and princes?
4Select three men from each tribe, and I will send them. They shall rise and go through the land, and describe it according to their inheritance, and return to me.

9Therefore give your servant an understanding heart to judge your people, that I may discern between good and evil: for who is able to judge this your great people?
9and you shall come to the priests, the Levites, and to the judge who is in office in those days, and inquire, and they shall declare to you the verdict of the judgment.
10You shall do according to the decision they give you at the place which the LORD chooses, and you shall be careful to do according to all that they instruct you.
14And with him ten leaders, one chief leader from each house throughout all the tribes of Israel; and each one was head of the house of their fathers among the thousands of Israel.
18And you shall take one leader of every tribe to divide the land by inheritance.
9And I spoke to you at that time, saying, I am not able to bear you myself alone:
