He divided the sea, and caused them to pass through; and he made the waters to stand as a heap.

For it would have been better for us to serve the Egyptians, than to die in the wilderness. 13 And Moses said to the people, Do not fear, stand still, and see the salvation of the LORD, which he will show to you today: for the Egyptians whom you have seen today, you shall see them again no more forever. 14 The LORD shall fight for you, and you shall hold your peace. 15 And the LORD said to Moses, Why do you cry to me? speak to the children of Israel, that they go forward:
